Makeup Tools That Will Make Your Life Easier

This blog post contains affiliate links from Aliexpress . If you use them, I might

be rewarded credit or a commission of the sale. Please note that I only

recommend tools that I personally use and love and I always have my readers'

best interest at heart.

For this article I'm going to go over a few makeup tools I swear by. I personally use everything in this post regularly and all of these items have changed the game for me. This will include stuff to make makeup application easier, tools for cleaning your brushes, and a couple of other odds and ends!

These are great for so many reasons. I use them to brush out my brows, separate my lashes when mascara gets clumpy, and scrape the mascara off my face when I inevitably hit my nose with the wand. The trick for that last one is to wait until it is completely dry, then use the clean wand to lightly scrape it off!

Personally I have to use a couple of these at a time, and I still have to split my brush cleaning into multiple sessions. I have too many brushes supposedly. I absolutely love these brush trees because it literally prolongs your brushes lives. When you wash your brushes you always want to dry them upside down so the water doesn't run back into the metal piece called the ferrule. If too much water runs into it and sits it can dissolve the glue and cause it to come loose, or cause shedding which nobody wants. I also love this type of drying rack because you can take it apart and store it flat!

I have both a mitt and a mat. The mitt is great but if you're washing a lot of brushes this is really the way to go. The mat gives you a lot of texture option which is great for different brush types and level of dirtiness. With it being silicone, it also makes it super easy to clean all the residue off of when you're done! It also has suction cups on the bottom so it sticks right in your sink! As far as soaps go, I would avoid the Dawn dish soap option a lot of people swear by. It can dry out your bristles and make them break which leads to rough feeling brushes. Ecotools has a great brush cleaner, and E.L.F. Cosmetics has an awesome one and it's only like $3 or $4 for a bottle.

These come in handy for a few different things. You can mix your foundation on it to customize your shade. You can mix your foundation with a moisturizer to make a lighter coverage foundation. If you use any products from a squeeze tube, you can put it on this to pick up with your brush. You can mix lipsticks on it to make a custom shade. Anything you can get onto your palette, you can mix. It's great. Also, if you're a super sanitary person who doesn't like to dip straight into cream products you can use this to scoop onto and just use the product from there so you don't contaminate your product. That's what the pros do!

When you have masks that come in a jar this makes application way more sanitary. Now you don't have to dip your fingers in the jar! If your mask comes in a tube this is great for that too because you don't get it all over your hands. Another great thing about these brushes is they give you a nice even application so your mask works the best it can! With this being silicone as well that makes it super easy to clean off after using it as well.

Tweezers shaped like this make it so much easier to apply false lashes. I am very much a beginner with false lashes but these have helped me a ton!

That is all for now! These are my favorite most helpful tools I have purchased, and I purchased them all from these exact stores so I know they won't let you down! I might end up doing another post based on brushes from Aliexpress I absolutely adore. I have a lot of surprisingly incredible brushes that I got super cheap and have withstood some abuse. If you use any of these please leave a comment below and let me know! Also, if you have any recommendations for future makeup related posts drop those in the comments as well!
